Simply Supper of Soup and Bread
We are beginning the tradition of a simple supper of soup and bread prior to the celebration of Stations of the Cross. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm in the Parish Hall followed by the Stations of the Cross at 7:00pm in the Church. A free-will offering will be gratefully accepted to cover the costs.

Confessions
Parish Penance Service: Monday, March 10 - 7:00pm
This Penance Service will be our principal time for hearing confessions. Please make this evening a priorty in order to be prepared for the celebration of Easter.

Saturday: March 15 4:00pm - 5:15pm
Good Friday: March 21 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Holy Saturday: March 22 There will be NO Confessions on Holy Saturday

We strongly urge you to take advantage of the Lenten Penance Service since other times for confessions will be limited and crowded

Lent Fast and Abstinence Regulations
Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of Fast and Abstinence. Fasting means one full meal and two snacks whenever that day. Abstinence means no consumption of meat. Meat is: beef, chicken or pork. All Fridays of Lent are days of abstinence (no meat). Everyone should try to participate in these Lenten regulations, regardless of age. Health reasons are a different matter. If there are medical concerns then please consult with your physician.
